The University of Kentucky operates a High Performance Computing complex in support of its research and teaching missions. Located in McVey Hall, the complex is built from a large cluster of commodity servers, a group of large Shared Memory Processor (SMP) machines, a high speed interconnect, a large unified file system, and a mass storage system.
The current IBM Intel BladeCenter cluster and p-Series complex were installed early in 2007. If you are new to the site, or you haven't used the UK supercomputer recently, then please Read Me First.
